- In NSW and SA, joining can also attract a state incentive (NSW Peak Demand Reduction Scheme, SA REPS), paid through a third party and based on your battery's usable capacity.
- Origin's Battery Starter plan (an evening export rate for battery owners) is a separate retail plan, not part of Loop.
Getting a battery that works with Origin Loop
The federal Cheaper Home Batteries rebate requires the battery to be VPP-capable, whether or not you join a VPP. If you want Origin Loop in particular, tell your installer so the battery and inverter match Origin Energy's list. Our 30-second check shows your rebate and puts you in touch with a CEC-accredited installer.
