This page used to be called "Reviews". It isn't anymore, and here's why: we launched recently, and genuine customer reviews take years to earn. Plenty of solar lead sites fill that gap with invented testimonials, purchased star ratings and fake "12,000 happy customers" counters. That's misleading conduct under the Australian Consumer Law, it breaches Google's structured-data spam policies, and it's exactly the kind of thing we'd warn you about in a solar quote.
So instead of pretending, we publish what we can actually stand behind: government program data, computed rebate maths with the formula shown, and savings estimates that are attributed to whoever made them. When we have real, verifiable first-party reviews, we'll publish them here, named, dated and checkable. Not before.
Every figure on this site carries its source. If you find a number we can't back with a link, email us and we'll correct it the same day.
The federal solar rebate is system kW × STC zone rating × deeming years × STC
price, floored per the regulation. The federal battery discount pays 6.8 STCs
per usable kWh (through 31 December 2026) on the first 14 kWh, tapering above. We value
certificates at the current spot price of $39.90; your installer's pass-through is
typically a few dollars less per certificate. State incentives are listed only where
the program is verified as open.
Indicative installed prices are market ranges, not quotes. Your roof, switchboard and hardware choice move the number, which is why the calculator asks for your postcode before it shows you anything.
